Import a CSV of Applications

Note: This article assumes you have a CSV of applications to import. If you have not collected any applications yet, you can set up a web form to collect applications.

If you’ve already collected some applications for your Program still need to be processed, let’s import them into your Orbit Program.

Import a CSV

  1. Download the CSV Template for Applications:

  1. Match your CSV of applications to use the same columns as the template. Here is a description of the columns in the template:

Question Columns
Text
Each additional column other than the above will represent a question you ask your applicants in your applicant form. For example, you can title a column “Why do you want to join this program?”. Add as many question-columns as you want.

  1. Import your CSV by clicking “Add Members to Program” and selecting the “Import CSV” option

If you already have members in your Program, you can import additional applications by clicking “Add Member” in the top-right.
  1. Success! Now you can Review and Manage Applications

FAQ

Can I import all the answers to my application form?

Yes, add an additional column for each question in the CSV you are to import. The title of this column should be the text of the question itself.

Are there any required fields?

Yes, either name or email address is required for each row. It is highly recommended to populate both.
