What activities are tracked by each integration?

Orbit provides

that allow you to connect your external communities to your workspace so you can benefit from seeing all the activities taking place in your community in one place.

Below is a list of all first-class integrations and what activities you can expect them to create when you use them. Additionally, we've included the details of the historical imports that are performed by each integration, so you know which data from the past they'll be grabbing once you plug them in.

DEV

Activities
- Comments on posts for either a user or an organization - Follows for a user
Historical Import
- Comments and follows as far back as the API allows, or up to 100,000 total activities
Does not track or import
- Reactions (No hearts, unicorns or saves. This is due to API limitations.) - Follows for organizations (Due to API limitations. Follow activities will be created for the users who post to that Organization profile). - When someone posted to an Organization

Discord

Activities
- When a user joins the server - New messages in a channel - New replies to a message - New replies in a thread
Historical Import
- All of the above listed activities for 365 days retrospectively from the date of connecting the integration to Orbit - Up to 100,000 messages (very active Discord servers may see less than 12 months of data due to this)
Does not track or import
- Stickers or emoji reactions - User defined roles - If a user leaves the server

Discourse

Activities
- New topic created - New post created - New member account created
Historical Import
- Up to 100,000 posts or 365 days of posts retrospectively from the date of connecting the integration to Orbit
Does not track or import
- Post likes - Badge grants

GitHub

Activities
- Issue is created - Comments on issues - Comments on pull requests - Star on a repository - Fork of a repository - Pull request created - Pull request merged - Discussion created - Discussion comment created
Historical Import
- All the above activities from the start of each repository
Does not track or import
- Un-star on a repository - Repository Dependencies

inSided

Activities
- Question asked - Question replies - Idea submitted - Idea replies - Conversation started - Conversation replies - Article submitted - Article replies
Historical Import
- Up to 365 days in the past, or up to 100,000 total activities.
Does not track or import
- Upvotes on ideas (This is due to inSided API limitations that prevent us from importing this activity historically)

LinkedIn

Activities
- Comments on posts on an Company Profile/Organization page
Historical Import
- Up to 100,000 comments or 365 days retrospectively from the date of connecting the integration to Orbit
Does not track or import
- Reactions or Likes - Any of the information related to your personal LinkedIn account, including account activity, DMs and personal posts

Reddit

Activities
- Posts created on selected Subreddits (limited to 5 subreddits) - Comments on posts on selected Subreddits You can use Keyword Filtering to match Posts with specific keywords to reduce irrelevant matches.
Historical Import
- 1000 posts and comment activities retrospectively from any selected Subreddits
Does not track or import
- Your personal account activities, such as joining a Subreddit - Reactions/Likes/Upvotes

Slack

Activities
- When a user joins a public or private Slack channel - New messages in a channel - New replies in a thread
Historical Import
- All of the above listed activities for 365 days retrospectively from the date of connecting the integration to Orbit - Up to 100,000 messages (very active Slack communities may see less than 12 months of data due to this)
Does not track or import
- Emoji reactions to messages

Stack Overflow

Activities
- Questions relating to a specific tag or set of tags - Answers to Questions relating to a specific tag or set of tags
Historical Import
- 28 days of question and answer activities relating to the specified tag(s)
Does not track or import
- Collectives

Twitter

Activities
- New @mentions - New followers (from the point of connecting the integration)
Historical Import
- Up to 800 of the most recent @mentions
Does not track or import
- All your followers, due to a restriction with Twitter's API (it can't tell us when someone followed you) - Unfollowers

YouTube

Activities
- Comments on videos posted publicly on your channel
Historical Import
- Comments from all videos posted publically as far back as the API allows (usually the start of the channel)
Does not track or import
- Mentions of your channel elsewhere on YouTube - Videos posted by other creators about you or your company - Engagement metrics, such as likes
