FAQ
What's the difference between Activities and Tags?
Activities are any verbs or actions that a community member does in your community.
Tags are any other classifications, identities, segmentations or nuances about a member that are custom to you and your teamβs community management needs.
Activities are different from Tags in that Activities are tracking all of the actions that your members are taking related to your community (things like tweeted at you, joined a Slack channel, or starred your GitHub repository), while Tags are tracking the things that make members uniquely them and are important to your team (things like VIP, Champion-Program, fun-human, beta-program-participant, won-XYZ-award, offered-to-speak-at-conference, the list goes on and on.
