You can connect the tools and applications you're using to build your community via our Ready-to-Connect integrations. These are open-source projects built by the Orbit team and our wider developer community.

How to use Ready-to-Connect integrations

Ready-to-Connect integrations can be used in three different ways:

  • As an installable package that you can include when building your own application.
  • Via a Command Line Interface (CLI) that allows you to run them from your terminal.
  • As a GitHub Action that can run on a pre-defined schedule.

We think the easiest way to use a Ready-to-Connect integration is via GitHub Actions because we've created everything you need to get up and running inside the repository. All you need is a GitHub account.

Watch the following video for a walkthrough of how to get started using our Ready-to-Connect integrations via GitHub Actions.

You can find the full list of ready-to-Connect integrations in the Integrations section of your workspace settings.

Available Ready-to-Connect Integrations

Note: Although the Ready-to-Connect integrations are listed on the Integrations page in your workspace settings, you will not see them show up in the Connected Integrations section of that page.
