This guide will dive deep into the different areas of the member profile page.

The member profile page is the place to see anything you want to know about a specific community member. The page includes social bios, company, interests, activity in your community, and even data like preferred pronouns and t-shirt size.

Let’s walk through the information displayed on a Member Profile Page.

  1. Bio info: This info is automatically pulled from any integration that you’ve added to Orbit. Integrate with more sources to quickly put together the most complete profiles for your community members. We also offer further profile enrichment via Clearbit, which is part of our paid plan.
  2. Identities: Based on the sources you connect with Orbit, we can pull a member’s social media and email information. We call these identities, and you can add, edit, and remove this information.
  3. Orbit Model metrics: Orbit automatically tracks the Orbit Level, Love, and Reach for each member. We do not include Orbit Level on a Teammate Profile.
  4. Member Tags: In Orbit, you can manually or automatically add tags to a member’s profile. When you add a tag to a member, that tag will be displayed here.
  5. Recent Activities: Get a quick overview of this member’s most recent activities in your community, such as what activities they’ve done, and where they are most active.
  6. Activities Log: See a timeline of all the activities this member has performed in your community. This includes automatically generated activities from any integrations you’ve added, activities from the Orbit API, notes you have added, and content you've saved to the profile.
  7. Notes: Add, edit, and view notes that your team has taken about this member.
  8. Details: View additional member details here that are automatically calculated and pulled into Orbit.
💡 Did you know? If you integrate with Github, we automatically add topics and languages that your community members use to their member profile!
Look at all that information!

And that’s it! Now that you know what information is included on a Member Profile, we’ll now cover how edit a member profile.
