Manage Program Settings
Learn how to set up your Program Details, Onboarding Page, Email Template, and integrate with Gmail so you can send emails directly from Orbit!
To manage your settings, navigate to the Program and click on the “Settings” button in the top-right.
Update the Program Name or Description
- Go to the “General” tab of the Program Settings.
- Enter a new name and/or description and click “Update”.
Delete the Program
- Go to the “General” tab of the Program Settings.
- Click “Delete Program”.
- A confirmation window will appear. If you are are sure you want to delete the Program, click “Continue”.
Set up your Member Onboarding Page
- Go to the “Pipeline” tab of the Program Settings.
- Click “Edit” in the “Onboarding Automation” section.
- Update the heading and additional text you want in the “Body” section.
- To add a Checklist Item, click “Add Item”.
- Add the title of the task(s). Links will be added to the end of the task title.
- Click “Save”
Configure your email template
- Go to the “Pipeline” tab of the Program Settings.
- Click “Setup” under the “Template Message” section. Note: The button text will be “Edit” if you have already configured a template message
- Edit the message. The following tokens can be used:
Token | Description |
%{applicant_name} | The first name of the applicant |
%{onboarding_link} | The URL to the applicant’s unique onboarding page |
%{sender_name} | The first and last name of the Orbit User sending the email |
- Click “Done”.
Setup the Gmail Integration
With Orbit’s Gmail Integration, you can send emails directly from Orbit. These emails will come from the Inbox that is used during setup.
- First, make sure you are logged into Gmail.
- Go the the “Gmail Integration” section of the Program Settings.
- Click on “Setup”.
- Choose which account to use:
- Check the box to allow Orbit to send emails on your behalf:
- Click “Continue”.
- Success!
Configure Contribution Form
Orbit allows your community/program members to self-report their contributions. To learn more, see this article. In the “Contributions” section of Program Settings, you can set the Name and Description of the form.
Review Spam Submissions
If you are using Orbit’s Application Web Form, Orbit will automatically block suspected spam submissions. Go here to review any blocked submissions. You will also have the ability to “unblock” a submission you think was incorrectly blocked as spam.
